I've had 4 HVAC companies come out to try and fix 2 dampers in my 2 zone system that were backwards. They didn't even try to fix the dampers and looked dumbfounded and recommended a new HVAC system. Josh came out and immediately got to diagnosing the issue. Fixed my dampers and now I can cool both floors and give the system a break. 3 years and 5 companies to get it done but I've found the right company and technician. Thanks Josh and GeauxHVAC for the great service. Look forward to doing more business with you in the future.

Responded to service call for zoned HVAC system with reversed damper operation on 5-ton unit. Inspected two-zone damper configuration and return air vents, documenting existing installation with poor accessibility and deteriorated ceiling conditions around vent openings. Customer reported issue present since home purchase three years ago with four previous companies unable to resolve damper reversal problem without recommending full system replacement. Assessed damper wiring and zone control board connections to determine if simple rewiring could correct reversed operation versus requiring damper replacement or system modification.

Taylor , Josh, Joel, both Tylers, Evan, AJ, Sebastian, Keagan, and anyone else if I left any names out who worked on our system . We were very impressed with how professional , knowledgeable , and friendly everyone was and how quickly they responded to our air conditioning issues , especially during such a miserable hot time of year . Everyone we spoke to at the office was as polite and friendly as well . We highly recommended this company .

Responded to no cooling complaint on first floor front zone following weekend electrical outages. Upon arrival, confirmed air handler operational but outdoor condensing unit failed to start. Performed electrical diagnostics at condenser using clamp meter to measure voltage and amperage at compressor and motor terminals. Testing revealed inadequate voltage supply and zero amperage draw, indicating loss of power to unit. Measured line voltage at disconnect and compressor contactor to isolate electrical fault. Findings consistent with control circuit failure or contactor malfunction preventing compressor operation. Documented electrical readings and equipment conditions for repair recommendations.

Responded to after-hours service call for rear HVAC unit serving bedrooms with indoor blower running continuously but outdoor condenser failing to engage. Upon arrival, confirmed indoor fan operation and verified condenser unit was not starting. Accessed outdoor unit electrical compartment and inspected components. Identified failed dual-run capacitor as root cause preventing compressor and condenser fan motor from starting. Capacitor showed visible signs of age, weathering, and deterioration consistent with end of service life. Replaced defective capacitor with proper OEM replacement rated to manufacturer specifications. Verified all electrical connections were secure and properly terminated. Cycled system through complete operational test, confirming compressor startup, condenser fan engagement, and proper cooling cycle initiation. Checked amperage draws on compressor and fan motor, both within normal operating parameters. Verified thermostat communication and sy
