Performed fall heating tune-up on one system, including inspection of the unit and replacement of the air filters with customer-supplied filters. Documented suspected mold-like growth, staining, and ceiling cracking around the kitchen/dining area supply register and boot, along with gaps between the ceiling and register grates and condensation at the kitchen vent. Secured the register grates, and recommended further evaluation of the duct insulation, moisture source, and affected drywall for remediation.

Performed a pre-sale HVAC inspection on the AC and heating system, evaluating heater operation based on the reported heating issue. Inspection of the air handler revealed a blower wheel heavily caked with dust and debris, a corroded shaft collar and set screw, and rust and heavy buildup throughout the blower housing, all of which restrict airflow and can contribute to heating performance problems. Recommend cleaning or replacing the blower assembly and addressing the corroded components.

Tech showed up on time, did a through review of my entire system even though he was only here originally for a second opinion. Was very knowledgeable and offered to provide multiple options to repair my service.

I've had 4 HVAC companies come out to try and fix 2 dampers in my 2 zone system that were backwards. They didn't even try to fix the dampers and looked dumbfounded and recommended a new HVAC system. Josh came out and immediately got to diagnosing the issue. Fixed my dampers and now I can cool both floors and give the system a break. 3 years and 5 companies to get it done but I've found the right company and technician. Thanks Josh and GeauxHVAC for the great service. Look forward to doing more business with you in the future.
